Dear Reiko Anahara:
Congratulations! You have been selected to receive a Graduate Student Travel Award for the 2004 Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology (SOT), March 21-25, in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Award consists of a check of $450 to assist you with your expenses to attend the SOT Annual Meeting. You are responsible for handling your own travel arrangements and any remaining money is to be used for lodging, registration fees, and meals. The check will be mailed by the end of February to your address as indicated on the acceptance form that will follow in a second e-mail. Please verify the address and return the form at your earliest convenience. For recipients outside the U.S., you may opt to pick up the check at the SOT office during the meeting rather then face possible delays through the mail. If you have any questions, contact Betty Eidemiller by e-mail (email@example.com), phone (703/438-3115 x320) or fax (703/438-3113).
All students registered for the meeting are invited to the Student Mixer on Sunday, March 21 at 7:30 pm. In addition, the Society expects you to attend the SOT Council meeting with graduate students scheduled for 4:45 p.m. Wednesday March 24 to voice your opinions on issues of importance to you. We also encourage you to participate in career sessions organized by the Placement Committee, the In Vitro Luncheon and Lecture for students on Tuesday, Lunch with an Expert, and other student-oriented events. Reserve your complimentary tickets when you register for the meeting.
Again, congratulations and we look forward to seeing you in Baltimore.
