Medical Informatics and Management

Overview

In hospital operations, we managed, operated, and strengthened the functions of the general hospital information system, and also studied the concept for the next system. In addition, information security measures and responses against cyber attacks, which are becoming more severe year by year, were implemented. Information on information security incidents was shared with faculty, staff, and students through seminars and other means to prevent recurrence and improve moral literacy. In education, lectures were given not only in the hospital but also at other educational institutions in Chiba Prefecture to disseminate basic knowledge of medical informatics. In research, we obtained external funding from government agencies (MEXT, MHLW, AMED, PMDA) and companies (NTT Data, Hitachi, Ltd.) to conduct research and development for advanced informatics in medicine.
