Pharmacotherapy

Overview

Our laboratory work is focused on both basic research and clinical problems. We aim to clarify the pathogenesis of vascular diseases concerning atherosclerosis using molecular biological approach, and to develop a new pharmacotherapy on vascular events. We also aim to solve the clinical problems especially on individual pharmacotherapy and to create the new evidences. We are trying to investigate pharmacokinetics of various drugs such as antibiotics, antitumor agents and anti-epileptics for the purpose of personalized medication. In addition, we develop database of drug-specific laboratory data for checking usage and dosage of prescribed drugs.
