Overview

Department of Endocrinology, Hematology and Gerontology aims at patient-centered care in complex disorders based on the highest standards of academic medicine. We provide the best possible treatment with common to relatively rare diseases through a team-based approach. We carry out the basic science and clinical studies covering a broad range of areas in diabetes, metabolism, endocrinology, gerontology and hematology to develop novel therapeutic strategies for currently untreatable diseases. Through our integrated research, education, community-outreached programs and global collaboration, we are dedicated to pursue the cutting edge of medical science.
