Dr. Yumi Hoshioka Won a Prize from the Society of Legal Medicine.

Dr. Hoshioka, an assistant professor at this center of Chiba University, was awarded a prize for "Analysis of biomembrane phosphatidylcholine chlorinated/oxidized by hypochlorous acid using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry" at the 102nd Central Congress of the Japanese Society of Legal Medicine in Fukuoka on June 8, 2018. Although it was called the Student Poster Forum prize, she had already attained the degree of Doctor of Medicine in March this year.

Dr. Yohsuke Makino won the Young Researcher's Award from the Society of Legal Medicine.

Dr. Makino, a project associate professor at Chiba University (an associate professor at Tokyo University), won the Young Researcher's Award at the 102nd Central Congress of the Japanese Society of Legal Medicine (simultaneously, the 24th Congress of the International Academy of Legal Medicine) in Fukuoka on June 7, 2018. This award is given at the annual Central Congress to a young researcher who is expected to contribute to the field of forensic medicine. He won the prize because his performance in the area of postmortem CT was regarded highly.
